Red Earth. So pervelant here in New Mexico. To me it feels comforting, like home. Between the red earth and the huge, un-ending sky, one often wonders why anyone lives anywhere else. This is an original painting done with Casien paint. Casein paint is probably the earliest form of paint known. it uses milk protien as a binder. I love it for it muted colors and matte finish.
